    • Chief Chef:Yusuke Matsuda(Born in Amakusa City)
      Representative of Kumamoto Prefecture at the "CHEF-1 Grand Prix 2022,23".
      We'll introduce you to our head chef through a few questions.

      Q1. What kind of chef do you think you would have been if you had been born in Aso?
      A. I don't think I'd be a chef, I'd be a farmer.
      Q2. A huge fish you've never seen before falls from space in front of you.How do you cook it?
      A. I wonder if it will be on fire when it enters the atmosphere, but I think it has strong scales that can break through the atmosphere, so I think the best way to cook it is to make it into soup without using a knife.
      Q3. What is the best moment in your life as a chef?
      A. I have yet to be in a situation where I feel that way.I hope to taste it someday.

      A. Don't forget to be grateful to the ingredients and producers, and eat what you want to eat! I try to make food that is delicious!
      Q2. What ingredients are fun to cook and why?
      A. It is to heat large chunks.If the hair is cut to the ideal state that I had in mind, I'll be very happy!
      Q3. Is there any ingredient or cooking method you would most like to research right now?
      A. I would like to enjoy using ingredients that change with the seasons, combining them freely and using my imagination and cooking methods, while also constantly improving the same ingredients.
